Kono'S works like a real app — no app store, nothing to download, and it's free to start. Adding it takes about 30 seconds. Here's every tap.

iPhone — three taps in Safari
1
Open thekonos.com in Safari
Safari is the blue compass app that comes with every iPhone. This only works in Safari.
2
Tap the Share button
The square with an arrow pointing up, in the middle of the bar at the very bottom of the screen.
3
Tap "Add to Home Screen", then "Add"
Don't see it? Slide the list up a little — it's a few rows down.
Android — three taps in Chrome
1
Open thekonos.com in Chrome
Chrome is the red, yellow, green and blue circle — the browser on most Android phones.
2
Tap "Install app" when it pops up — or tap the ⋮ menu
Chrome often offers a bar at the bottom by itself. The ⋮ (three dots) sits in the top-right corner.
3
Tap "Install app", then "Install"
On some phones it says "Add to Home screen" instead — same thing, tap it.
That's it. It's a real app now.
The Kono'S icon sits on your home screen like any other app — tap it and it opens full screen, no address bar, ready to work. Everything stays free to start, and there was no app store involved.
Prefer to skip this?
That's fine too — Kono'S works exactly the same in your browser. The home-screen icon just makes it one tap away.
